Screen printing is one of the more popular printing methods due to the amazing clarity and accuracy with which any image can be replicated on different materials. Not to mention, the colors can also be extremely vivid and eye-catching. This method is also the most cost-effective and economical way to print quantities of garments, however, we can print from 1 to 100,000 garments.

Once your art is selected and approved, we then – when necessary – using a digital version of the image – separate out the different major colors in the graphic. This process is referred to as ‘color separation’.

From there, we will now print the color separations onto a screen that has been coated with a light sensitive emulsion. Then you will end up with a screen for each major color section of the image. For instance, if the picture contains a green tree, a separate screen will be created that isolates only the parts of the image that are green, including the tree.

Before we can begin printing on the actual garment, we must first expose the screen to UV light, creating what is called a “screen stencil.” There is one screen required for every color in the design.

Then, using specialized automated equipment, our workers press ink through the screens onto your garment, giving you a final product that looks like your original image. The garments are then heated in a large tunnel dryer to cure the ink.
